Control starts with clarity

Know where your work goes.

Understand Fabricate’s local modeling, storage choices, and the data boundaries of connected AI and integrations.

Local modeling and customer-controlled storage are deliberate architectural choices. Here is what they mean for your workflow.

01 / Explore

Local CAD computation

The geometry runtime executes on your device. Fabricate’s product backend handles account, subscription, tenant, and support functions rather than acting as your design storage service.

02 / Explore

Storage you choose

Browser storage is the default. Pro adds supported local-folder and customer-owned S3 adapters. Your selected storage service determines its own retention, backup, region, and access behavior. Keep backups of important designs.

03 / Explore

Explicit AI connections

The Desktop MCP server listens locally and uses revocable access tokens. A connected AI client can receive model information, screenshots, and tool results. Check your AI provider’s data handling before sharing sensitive designs.

04 / Explore

Integration boundaries

An embedded host can exchange files and tool results with Fabricate. The host application and any connected external services have their own data policies. Contact us to review your intended deployment.
